Hi all, had an accident that damaged my N/S headlight and caused a leak in my windscreen washer bottle (2016 Octavia mk3 Estate) . The front bumper is coming off for respraying.... When that is off is it easy enough to access and replace the windscreen washer bottle and headlight? Or is further disassembly required? Anything I need to be careful of?

Headlight off

 

Other things you may have to move out of the way is all for space to remove/insert washer bottle

Oh wow this is great thank you! Is there an equivalent page for removal of the headlight (or perhaps it is straightforward when the bumper is removed?)

They are usually fairly straight forward, but you need to help by stating which headlights you have.

 

You have halogen headlights?

And you should be pre-facelift.

 

3x screws should do it, pic to follow once you confirm if correct statement.

 

 

EDIT: Taking a guess you have Halogen's

 

 

Fitting

– Align the headlight according to the contours of the vehicle
body (maintain the gap size ⇒ Body Repairs; Rep. gr. 00)
and loosely tighten with screws.
– Install bumper.
– By turning -arrow- the setting elements -4-, the headlight is
moved and thereby fitted to the surrounding body parts.

Thanks, yes halogen as far as I'm aware. Here is a pic as I wasn't sure about face-lift/pre face-lift.
