here in Australia, the car is not getting any update by the dealership. There’s no OTA support here too.

 

how can I update the software to a newer version, if any?

 

MK4 Mild Hybrid 1.5 with Bolero

I do have the firmware for them, but last person that tried couldn't get it to load.

 

There's also a chance you loose functions during update, as system gets updated then it may erase the functions that were previously activated at factory (apple car play etc)

 

After update is run, then you have to use dealer tools to communicate with the mother ship and download new codings and release the functions if they got nuked.
