I have a Kodiaq  67 plate i am having problems  when trying to start and turn off the vehicle 

I am having to try sometimes  up to 6_9 time to turn vehicle  on or off tried hold button on for various  amounts of time and have  tried pressing various 

Places on button still getting problem 

 

Anyone have zny ideas do i need to replace ignition  button

That will either need a new ignition button or the old one taking out, taking apart and cleaning internally.

It's a warranty issue, even on vehicles no longer under warranty. The push button for the ignition and engine stop/start is a well documented weakness on numerous Skoda models including the Kodiaq.

The kessy button is a known fault, the contacts get dirty and wear out very quickly so either needs replacing or taking apart and cleaning.
