Dear all,

 

I own a Fabia Mk2 2008 BXW engine model. Since I bought my vehicle the seat belt warning (beeper) was not working. I tried with obd11 to activate, but even with 19103 coding (previous coding was 17103) the acoustic signal never worked and also the dashboard indication is shown only for few seconds when the key goes to ON position, then lits off.

Any suggestion??

Are you sure there should be an audible warning?

Does it matter since you know if you are putting on your seat belt or not?

Is a visual warning which you seem to notice not enough?

I think that's just normal behaviour. My Polo does the same. Brief warning light that goes out whether or not you plug in your seat belt, no audible warning.
