I’m new in here and a new owner of a 2018 Fabia Monte Carlo. Been out playing about with the infotainment and I have noticed when listening to music from my

iphone (via usb cable) I can hear interference or garbled music for a few seconds every 10 seconds of so. Looking to see if there is an update available and if so how do I install it?

Allso looking to confirm if it is possible to connect music via an SD card or a USB stick? Both of these options show up but appear grayed out so I can’t select them.

Or is there any other way of attaching an old iPod to use as a media device? I have an old iPod with 30gb music collection which I don’t have in my iphone……I tried using the cable but doesn’t allow me to select it as a media source.

Any suggestions of assistance appreciated!

I can read software version, but hard to determine what Software Train is on it.

 

Can you try to hold down your menu/setup button for a few seconds until you enter engineering menu?

See if you can sniff out some data for me.
