Skoda Octavia 2018

Featured Replies

I've Skoda Octavia 2018 without add blue. My dashboard is showing the  particular filter light on, when plugged into computer says the nox sensor bank 1 faulty. I've checked in the garage and the vehicle hasn't got nox sensor bank 1. What to do,  as the particular filter light is coming on very often also checked and part is not listed as car hasn't got add blue.

You might want to post some more car details, do you have an engine code you can provide?

What distance has the car driven now?

No I don't have a code,  the vehicle had new  turbo fitted last year and it has 107000 on the clock.

The vehicle is trying to do regeneration but it doesn't seem to work.  Knox sensor bank 1  is showing but it hasn't got that sensor or add blue. Spoken with dealer and this sensor isn't listed on this model,  so how can show when plugged under diagnostic?

The car will have an engine code like CFGB in UK it's on your V5 document.

Engine number  is

DDYA677905

Vin number

TMBBG7NE0J0303864

Sorry was outside looking at my own car.

Engine code is DDYA, a 1.5TDI with as you know just DPF and EGR system, no AdBlue as you have mentioned.

What tool was used for the diagnostic?

Just wondering if it is reading fault code wrong and spitting out a false message about NOx readings.

No worries, I'm still searching everywhere.  Went to  3 different garages in last few days and they plugged under computer.  All showing the knox 1 sensor and the car hasn't got one. Particular filter light is  coming on  every other day.  Left car in the  local garage and  tomorrow morning will try  skoda dealer.

Best of luck with that, there is also a list of VCDS/VCP members who might help you get a scan and some live data (invaluable!)

Would be idea to be able to read the Soot values of the DPF (too much and you will need a brand new one or have it cleaned)
