Did anyone else here mr ladyman on radio 2 last night going on about new style number plates that fall apart if someone tries to nick them?

Has anyone had their plates stolen??

Mr ladybird went on to say you can buy a set of plates now for 15 squid and a set of the new ones for 30 squid.

I paid 30 squid for the current style - get yer facts right!

Mr ladyboy also thought it was illegal to buy plates of the net, wrong again its illegal to use them on the road - not bad for minister of cocking up the roads.

Get back to putting speed cameras where they dont' belong or bus lanes on the m4, or best yet multi occupancy lanes on the M1

I seem to recall the new style were 3 times as much as old style. Still stupid way of going about to prevent it in the first place.

Hmm stolen plate I guess is for cloneing or similar purposes.

If you get your plate nicked report it to police and i would hope issue solved :S

Are you sure?? AFAIK it is illegal now for any supplier to make and sell plates without obtaining proof of ownership of vehicle. Internet ones are "off shore" I think - IOM or Eire.

Sorry yes i meant off shore ones dont require documentation and are not illegal - but mr ladyboy thought they were and wanted to stop it.
