Hi all I have slowly started to hear a knocking when steering the car a very slow speeds it's getting considerably worse has anybody experienced this ? 

did you find anything on this? ive just changed the tie rod ends on mine, got it tracked and still theres a knocking...

Hi yes it went into the dealership. Who after 4 days eventually found the fault to be lack of grease on the front shock absorbers, 

 

Their solution was to basically cover the shock ram (under the rubber shield) with grease that was apparently the fix given to them by the skoda factory 

 

 

So far so good 5k miles on it hasn't re appeared as yet
