So nicely enough my alternator packed in last night, just in time for my trip to Santa Pod on Sunday, so need to get it fixed asap...

 

Went on euros site to look for an alternator and found 3 options, 70 amp, 90 amp and 120 amp 

 

Is this just relevant to the battery size? I've never had options when replacing one before... 

 

Any advise otherwise would be gratefully received

Which motor? Year etc.  I can look it ip. 

High likelihood it's a 90A unit, only the MPI is different from memory.

2006 asz

1.9's are generally 90A ones

Ensure it has the freewheel pulley whatever size you get.
