Anyone got access to Skoda TPI's ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have access to Skoda technical bulletins? My wife's car (19 plate Fabia) has had the turbo actuator rod seize for the second time and it was supposed to have been replaced the first time according to the bulletin the Skoda Assist technician who found the bulletin. If anyone can access this one TPI 2065785/2, I'd be very grateful. Car has extended warranty but they now want to charge us for the parts. When it seized the first time in June of this year, it was under the full manufacturers warranty.

Cheers

You might be better off pointing in the Fabia forum...

But, in any case, any replacement parts and work should be guaranteed for at least 12 months regardless of warranty status. If it is the same thing that has failed again, then I'd be straight back down the dealer to demand they fix their shoddy repair job.

They have sorted it with Skoda thankfully so its now being repaired for free under the extended warranty. The kit wasn't used last time it went in (even though the TPI stated that the kit should be fitted) for some reason.
