Oil service due - do they have the same price ?

Featured Replies

My Kodiaq is reporting oil service due. I asked one Skoda branch how much is this and they told me £300.

Do different Skoda dealers have different fee ? Do you usually ask a few and compare or just go to the same all the time ?

What were they doing for that price and what was done at the last service?

How many miles has the car done and how old and is it just an Oil Service, Oil change or more service items.

There is a Skoda Fixed Price Service & Maintenance list with Participating dealers.

3 to 10 years, fixed service regimes.

Younger cars might get a matched price or cheaper or more expensive, depends where you are going or to whom.

An Oil & Inspection service was £185 and might still be, extended scope at 3 years is extra £60.

A pollen filter @ 2 years is £35 if they change it.

Oil & Inspection Service £185

Extended Scope              £60

Pollen Filter                      £35

                                  ......£280.     Maybe Brake Fluid @ 3 years,

Haldex Oil change due at 3 years / 30,000 miles.

£300 is more than just an oil service, you need to ask exactly what they're replacing before being able to compare.

But yes, dealers are free to charge what they like.
