Going to be fitting some all season tyres to our Octavia soon bearing in mind it will be pulling a trailer at some stage during its life with us should we opt for XL all season or standard ones ? Is there much difference aside from the price , handling, grip etc ?

The stronger / reinforced sidewalls will be perfect.

Maybe a firmer ride, but then risk of damage with ironwork on roads and potholes reduced.  

 

The grip will be good with the correct All-Season tyres, and the correct load / speed rating, and they need not be the big name / brand to do the job required.
