Looking to buy a 2020 Superb SE L

Featured Replies

I’m considering returning to Škoda ownership and have looked at a 2020 Superb SE L DSG 2.0tsi 190ps car with Columbus, 19” alloys, interior LED pack and heated and ventilated seats. Car has covered 14,000 miles.

Price is £25,000 from a main dealer. Is this a reasonable price for this car and are there any issues I should be aware of?

They’ll have at least £3k profit in there so try to get at least £1k off by offering £23. Presume it’s a one owner car and it’s a trade in? Oh yeah, the Heated/Ventilated seats are great!

That's quite low mileage so it should be in tip top condition.

The 190 is a lovely engine, perfect blend of performance and economy.

I played hardish to catch when I bought my car from a main dealer.

In the end I got £2k off, four  free services and free MOT for life, which is what I asked for straight away

I went in saying I don’t want to play the fake ping pong of salesmen going to the manager then back and forth, I said I want to deal with the manager only, they accepted my request straight away so they probably still made plenty off me, but I did PCP so probably thought I’d get a new car when my deal ends but I paid the balloon payment

I got an estate SE-L , lovely leather seats . 19s .  Surprisingly economical yet great for overtaking . No problems so far . Just watch if it's got power opening hatch as it's easy to be impatient and bang your head
