Due to commuting for work now I had to get rid of my 2018 Ibis white Audi S5 Sportback which I loved!! But it was costing me a fortune to run so I ask my mechanic what to get for a new commuter. He said VW Golf GTD all day long but i still wanted a nippy petrol so looked at Golf GTIs BUT if I am being honest they are so BORING!! Spent hours and hours on Autotrader then came across Octavia VRS. It was a done deal. So I picked up a 2019 Octavia VRS 245 in Corrado red. Funny thing is a also have a 1994 VW Corrado VR6 so it was fait. I have had it 3 weeks but have already done so mods to it including tinting and Maxton front splitter. It was a good choice. Still a lot to do!!

Welcome. If you are needing touch up paint it will be Corrida Red.

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi All, I want get any advice when it comes to using the obd11 or other such scanners on the facelift mk4, especially stuff like changing the settings for auto stop start and lane departure. Can you unlock the sfd2 with this device? There website is very confusing as to whether it will work. Cheers

Yesterday our Roomster started beeping and flashing the warning light about the ABS. My first thought was to replace the ABS sensors – they are around £7 each and seem to be easy enough to replace by removing the rear wheels. I could also give the connections a bit of a clean at the same time. What are my chances chances of fixing the issue within 45 minutes of DIY work? I don’t have any diagnostic tools, but if this is a common fault with an easy fix it would be great to know what other peo

Have a very frustrating problem with my Fabia... The rear offside brake cylinder developed a bad leak, braking power very poor, near home so very carefully managed to get it home. Left it outside, pouring rain. Next day I discovered the cylinder had seemingly emptied a lot of brake fluid overnight. I couldn't do anything with it for a week. My driveway is on a slope downhill, I got the car down the drive very carefully without using brakes but just using clutch biting point in 1st gear. Position

Hi. I have a leak of diesel or oil from my Octavia 1.6 diesel engine and I am taking it to get steam cleaned etc today before driving down to a garage for them to check the leak . Is it ok for me to continue to drive my car around ? I have been for quite a while with this burning smell, the garage has said it should be fine but I just wanted some other advice. No warning lights come on and the car runs ok . Thank you.
