New head unit

Featured Replies

I know I'm probably going over old ground but can anyone tell me which wires to swap over on the ISO connector and where does the radio amp go?

I havn't got the old hu out yet so I can't see what's going on, any help would be appreciated pics would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Ive changed mine over in the last few weeks.

The red and yellow wires need to be swapped round. The aerial amplifier's blue wire should be connected to the blue wire from the radio labelled as powered areial. I needed an additional earial adaptor to allow the amplifier to reach the socket on the back of the HU.

I find the most useful piece of equipment when doing audio wiring is a lightbulb with some wire soldered to it. Makes it nice and easy to find switching and permanent feeds.

Obviously needs to be a 12v bulb... brake light or something similar.

or just use a tester :)

My versions cheaper :P but yours is also valid lol
