Featured Replies

i keep getting a runtime error box coming up all the time whilst on the internet saying do i want to de-bug!

when i click yes it brings up a page of crap i dont understand so i have to click no all the time

does anyone know how to sort this problem out? its driving me mad!!

It sounds to me like you're running an unpatched version of internet explorer. They changed the way it handles various types of scripting to get around this issue and I only see it now on unpatched systems. Try running the windows update but be aware it could take a while if you've not run it for a while and if you're not running either of the service packs you may find you have difficulty in getting some updates.

Or better still. ditch IE and use FireFox!

What service pack are you running? To check go to control panel and click on system.

Could also be a virus/trojan infection that has embedded intself into your system.

im running windows xp service pack 2.

tried windows update but had no updates needed.

try going to tools menu, then internet options. Click the advanced tab and under browsing select "disable script debugging".

Hopefully should stop it

You've jinxed me! Got a runtime error yesterday, and I already have "disable script debugging" ticked

It seems you've kicked it out and it's finding somewhere else to live...
