only 26.6 mpg ...from a diesel

Featured Replies

My Superb 1.9 pd 130 only did 26.6 mpg today on a long run (220 miles)

But I suppose as it was towing a one ton caravan that's not too bad

Also if you need a towcar the Superb is it ....very stable, economical, and pulls like a train .......not sure what speed it would go to .....but it was too easy to creep over the limit

.

 easy solution!

Remove divers boot from right foot before driving

My favorite pool car at work is the 130 Superb - regularly see 60+ mpg on a long run.

Performance isn't too bad considering the size either and on the motorway it's much better than the 2.0tdi A3 we've got - hasn't got the high speed twitchyness of the A3 either. (OT I've noticed that a lot of the current small/mid-size vag cars have it - the strut brace on the furby got rid of it - A3 and Golf both suffer from it too  I'd have put it down to road surface if it hadn't vanished afterwards. )

Got back Friday after 200ish miles towing 1100kg avg. 34mpg, that included going round the M25:eek:
