I have a Superb 2022, The sensor that comes with the original car is G397_RLFS 81D955547, it has temperature, humidity and light sensing functions。

 

after coding as below, the automatic rain closing is not working

 

Regenschliessen_ein AUS--change to active
Regenschliessen_art--change to" [VO]_ permanent"
Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen--change to active

Enter the 09-BCM module, select the "rain sensor" module - 006-coding → change the 0th byte to 04 or 06 → apply

 

 

 

 

 

then I purchase a new sensor G397_RLFS 8UD955559B which is same and working perfect in my previous Octavia 2016,

 

still not works.... I live in China, judging from the feedback from local car forums, this function cannot be activated for some of the cars produced by Skoda China and Volkswagen China after 2020.

 

Is there any special trick to enable this feature?

 

I appreciate any suggestions

my understanding is that u need the "RLS" sensor for it to work.

RLFS or RLHS won't work in the Superb.

Hi JR, do you have any part number of the 'RLS' sensor please?

based on my understanding, RLS sensor don't have humidity function (?) correct?

 

with RLS sensor, there may be an error code in automatic air conditioner unit🤣

looks like it's for PQ platform, not for MQB platform.... The shape of this sensor is different from the one on my car as below, which means that even if I buy it, it won't be able to be installed on the car

 

It looks like this feature can't be activated on my car😔

 

 

Sorry, yes that is not-MQB friendly.

 

With regards to the mk3 Superb - the problem is that the windows/sunroof are not powered anymore after doors r  locked.

The early MY15 Superb was able to do it, and they came with the RLFS sensor.

Later Superbs came with RLHS sensors.

So even if u put the RLFS sensor in a MY16> auto close won't work.

Tis a shame.

Hello JR, I think you are right...

 

I get a Voltage Testers, I lock my self in the car, ask my friend to lock the car, then wait for 20 mins, then I unplugged the rain cable and test the voltage, the value is near 11.59. so the sensor is powered after the door is locked

 

but I have no idea how to measure the windows/sunroof's voltage after the door is locked...

 

Anyway thanks for your help, It's a pity that this feature is unavailable

On my MY 2017 I changed it to sensor 81A 955 555 B. After coding everything works perfectly. Sorry for my english
