Hi. We have an octavia tsi. 2011 model. Rear wiper suddenly stopped working.  After having mot done but that might be random coincidence.  Went to check fuse.  Number 41 15A in the fuse panel near dash. Well there wasn't a fuse in expected hole! There is a 40a one in the number 40 fuse. Are we just being daft or looking in wrong place?

Also had a look at old messages and motor seems to go. Is it tricky ? Also how.we do get wiper arm off. Sorry lo g message. Thank you 

It could be that the fuse layout diagram you are looking at in the vehicle manual is symettrically opposite to your fuseboard, that has been the case on my last 3 Skodas.

Open/remove the spindle cover. Loosen the retaining nut one or two turns. Stand the arm up and use it as a lever to break the taper lock on the spindle. Remove the nut and then the arm.

Replacement is the reverse of removal, with the note that you should align the arm before fitting the nut.

Thank you J R . I did wonder if it was back to front but it seems to work out right with the slope of the fuse board. Might take one of the other fuses out and see if it corresponds to right thing.thank you
