1.2 TSI (CBZB) Fuel Rail Pressure at Idle

Featured Replies

Does any body know what the fuel rail pressure should be on idle ? I'm guessing that my high pressure fuel pump is leaking fuel into the crankcase because oil smells like gas and my fuel rail pressure at idle is around 4400 kpa (44 bars). I read on a 1.4 tsi thread that the idle pressure should be around 50 bar which mine never hits. If you have any other tips on how I can diagnose the problem please let me know :)

Thanks for the reply but in my country for some reason, even the used ones are 150 euros 😅. I can buy a new one for 130 (topran brand not original vw) on autodoc but didn't wanna spend the money right away.

What do you want to do then, you can't repair your pump?
