Heater fan motor fault.

Featured Replies

Hi to All

Today, the heater fan decided to throw a wobbly and only work on setting 4. I am guessing that it is the resistor block that has gone west. Does anyone know if this is a stock part with dealers? Also, anything else it could be? Not impressed at 30,000 miles.

It's been covered on here before Chris, I think I have posted up the number and Lummox the info on how to change it.

As for a stock item I couldn't say but if not then if it's in the UK it's normally a 2 day service.

I found the info via a search, but I use the car for work and need it to be working quickly, so needed to know if it is commonly a stock item at dealers or a parts order. Looks like the fix is quick if the part is available.

Only your garage will be able to tell you that mate. Different garages carry different items in stock.
