Chrome key tip

Featured Replies

Just received my chrome key tip

Part number -  5G0837599A

It looks identical to the plastic one I’ve removed but can’t get it to slide into place. Anyone else had this issue?

Are they generally a lot tighter or have I got a crappy aftermarket one?

I have no idea what a "key tip" is and your photos dont help me, they look like they could be a cover for the back up lock barrel but "key tip"?

From what I remember when I fitted mine, it clipped in fairly easily. It might require a bit of elbow grease, but don't force anything too much! Check and make sure there's no gunk or debris in the slots.

Cheers @SpaceWalruslooks like I've got a cheap aftermarket one as it isn't going on without some modification. I'l order another from a different seller.

I ordered mine from Superskoda, and that is still going strong
