which mk1 fabias came with remote locking?

Featured Replies

hello, im looking to buy a 1.2 or 1,4 fabia with remote keys, but i absolutley need remote locking, does anyone know what variants came with remote locking

thanks

Pretty much all of them with a named trim spec will come with remote locking, try and get a 1.4 16V they're enormously superior to the 1.2's.

Most ones with manual windows do not have central locking. As @sepulchrave says, 1.4 16v beats 1.2 in all ways really. If you want a good one, 1.4 16v Elegance will see you right.

Idiocy etc.

I have a 1.4 16v Estate, Comfort trim, it has remote locking and, surprisingly for anything electric/electronic on a Fabia, it works.

Bog standard Fabia Classic here. Has factory remote locking. No doubt chosen as a cost option when new.

Classic models came with the factory option of the "Plus Pack" which was remote locking and (i believe) electric front windows. Comforts and above all came with remote locking as standard.

That would explain it as it does have electric front windows too!

It's usually an indicator (looking at models for sale) that ones without electric windows don't have central locking.

Factory kit to convert keyed C/L to remote C/L.
