Seat Belt Indicator Problem

Featured Replies

2002 Octavia 1.9 TDI Estate.
Advice please.
Seat belt indicator light remains on when vehicle is started and driven.
Is this something that I can investigate and fix, or does it need to be looked at by a specialist.
Thanks for help.
Ian

Check for blown fuse and then check for split cable within the seatbelt buckle. I had the same issue on our 2000 Renault Megane Coach. (Coupé).

Would be worth spraying some wd40 or similar in where the buckle clips in, then blowing out with compressed air. These can get full of fluff and stuff. Might work, might not.
