So ive been unable to find a replacement wing mirror switch as mine is the one the swopped out for a better type they are impossible to get hold of.

I have a replacement set of wing mirrors ive just aquired as mine had both been hit in the past and repaired but the replacment pair are the manual adjust type now im just wondering before i go swopping all the covers etc over if there is a way i can actually fit the manual adjustment ones to my car or is that a no go was just a thought ???

That shouldn't be a problem, you would need to get yourself the trims for the inside where the adjustment stalks poke through if they didn't come with the mirrors you got. The holes for them should already be in the doors.

 

Then, tidy the cable for the electric mirrors out of the way inside the door. Someone who knows better can correct me, but I don't think the manual mirrors will be heated, that would be the worst disadvantage of downgrading. You can also then do away with the switch on the door, again getting a trim piece from a car without and tidying the cable inside the door.

trouble i have is i need to see a picture of where the manual adjusters are in a car with them im not sure if they are on those small covers in the corner of windows or on doors.

Ahhhh that helps cheers tmb I reckon I can adapt those to fit then hmmmm project lol 😂
