I'm wondering if there is any software available that could copy music off an online radio station so I can listen to it at a later date, without having to link it though stereos etc?

If you are on linux VLC (VideoLan), or Mplayer can do this just fine.

On windows I'd be pretty sure you can get a plugin for winamp from a third party to do this.

Obviously I'd have to remind you that this may be illegal in certain countries

My DAB radio can record direct to an SD card. Can then play it on my

pocket PC etc.

I use a program called Replay Radio that you can program like a VCR to record radio programs onto your harddrive.

Ive used a program called Ripcast in the past...

the free version is... free but cut down

its pretty much been killed off by the podcast phenomenon now.. check to make sure your radio programs are not podcasted now....

cant you just set your pc recording to "what u hear" then use sound recorder to record it. Then turn it into an mp3.
