3rd party towbar paid for by Main Dealer no wiring or coding done

Featured Replies

The main dealer threw in a 3rd party Towbar when i bought my 2020 190 spotline. It's not coded or integrated to the wiring so my parents sensors go off and my neck is sore after the crash protection activates when reversing.

The Towbar company says they can integrated and code this now for £225 but it wasn't available 2021. Has anyone had any experience of this? I'm a bit dubious of allowing  a 3rd party do this and should have insisted on an oem towbar from the start.

Any help greatly appreciated

Keep the aftermarket Towbar but get original electronics.

I shouldn't laugh at this but did 😳
