Alien Window Controller

Featured Replies

Wasn't sure where to put this post but I think this area is the most applicable.

Anybody have, or know of anybody who has an Alien Window Controller?

It basically uses the remote key fob to either roll up or down the windows when locking/unlocking.

It unfortunately wont work on the fabia.... (it uses multiplex wiring)

I did look into helping develop something very similar, but unfortunaltey couldnt find the time to dismantle the door to get the pinouts.

There were some threads on this a year or so ago and the consensus was it wouldn't work with the Fabia. I think Roo volunteered to liase with them to find out if one for the Fabia could be made, but he then went and bought an Octy II

That's a shame. Could really do with something like this controller.

The combination of all black leather & hot sunny days is a problem when first entering the car! I have to put the key in the ignition, drop the windows & then stand around for 30 seconds or so, before it becomes bearable.

How about a clifford alarm with remote start?

If it can start the engine, switch the AC on & drop the cabin temp to around 16 degrees C than that would be fanastic!:D

Insurance company won't like remote start and it invalidates the thatcham approval on the alarm. You want the superb with the solar sunroof option ;)
