Memory seat on passenger side

Featured Replies

I didn't think it was available on the Superb MK2 but came across this on German eBay https://www.ebay.de/itm/132233609943

Either it is from a UK car or it was in fact available in Germany. It is described as a passenger seat so I am thinking the latter

Anyone tried this? I am guessing the module would need coding so that it is treated as a passenger seat and doesn't interfere?

Assuming the picture is accurate, that's a driver's seat, controls are on the right .

Well yes, in a left-hand drive car, the right seat is the passenger seat. I'm not sure if the memory functionality is in the seat or the BCM, and if the BCM supports memory seats on both sides. Assuming it does, you'd need an LHD driver's seat to have memory function on the RHD passenger side.

This is basically what I'm asking. The seat has a memory module but I've not seen a way to code it as a passenger seat. MQB cars have this but I'm wondering about PQ35/45 modules
