Is there such a thing as...

Featured Replies

Colour matched/coded door bump strips or stops? Just to protect the edges of my cars doors.

Maybe if you have the right shade of a black car to match black ones.

Or the tight shade of a white car to match white ones.

I've got the Velvet Red coming.

www.automotiva.co.uk has custom made mouldings for the Mk4 and I believe they do paint to match too, at extra cost.

Car designers do not live in the real world as most modern designs emphasis multiple swage lines down the flanks that are a challenge to protect.

Thanks, but I'm not after that, just the edge strips or bumpers. Like these.

Well add something like that and paint them and when a careless passenger chips that paint repaint them.   Or make them a feature.  Fit hi-viz Orange ones like we did in the 1970,s,. Or the clear ones.  Retro!      Citroen designers did the Bubble Wrap look on cars and people laughed at that Simply Clever body protection against careless others.

Or you can just find someone who are putting PPF on cars near you and discuss with him just to put small PPF stripe like you post on the picture... should not be an issue :)
