For God Sake! Why do they have to have 2 part numbers?

Skoda Roomster 1.6 Petrol BTS engine code

2007

Which one of these is the right part number please?923993123_Screenshot2023-02-24at15_28_03.thumb.png.88145a832e391ce06e00fdf6f155f89e.png

PR: G0C = 5 Speed Manual

PR: G1A = 6 Speed Auto

So part will depend on your gearbox

does it make a difference if the part number is the same but it shows compatibility with VW or Audi different engine sizes but not Skoda? Like wire lenght etc

No idea where you are finding the information from, here is screenshot from catalog with RO (Roomster) 2008 MY (8) and the dates line up with your build date.

MY is +1 depending on when it's made (switches roughly mid-year)

If you are trying to fit an aftermarket cable, then maybe there is differences in length?

The part number does fit many other models yes.

I use AD for reference ;)

Anyhow, as you see from new post, the same probe is used for a wide range of VAG vehicles, so plenty of choice.

If you see another make/model and wish me to check it is same for SEAT for example I can verify.
