Tried but can't find it when does the Skoda factory usually close for summer break/retooling?

Anyone know the month?

I recall it was around second part of July. Don't quote me though

Think it varies by factory, one might be last week June and 2 weeks July, 

I am guessing the stagger allows maintenance teams to move sites

 

Vaguely remember someone saying the have a closedown and stocktake, then 2 weeks complete closure for retooling and heavy line maintenance, then 2-3 days retraining, testing etc (with intermittent or slow lines), then back to full speed.

 

However since pandemic, and chip shortages, has been reported a number of other stoppages have also taken place due to lack of components
