Rear washer

Featured Replies

I have a 2017 MKIII

The rear washer has stopped working and the "Skoda Dealer "  Says I need a new wiper motor ????

Where is the rear pump ? Up front by the washer bottle or built into the rear wiper motor or somewhere else ?

Any suggestions please

If youre only in hertfordshire feel free to get in touch if you need any work - im also in herts :)

Regarding the rear washer -  the pump is attached to the reservoir at the front of the car, the line runs  to the back of the car, through the wiper motor (if its a hatchback) and out the nozzle in the pivot point of the arm.

Im not sure why they would suggest a wiper motor unless its damaged and completely blocked and cant be unblocked.

Try this…

Hi

My rear washer jets not working, removed the small jets and nothing coming out of the bigger round hole, poked everything.  could it be the rear wiper motor? rear jet water pump? would it be covered by warranty? I live in Edgware I can get to herts area. Just bought the car last Saturday by dealer is in Birmingham.

car still has warranty.

Feel free to drop me a message on my Facebook page and I’ll guide you through any checks to hopefully save you some money :)

first thing is - do you hear the pump running when you press the stalk?

and is it an estate or hatchback?

You could try this…; that worked for me.
