Front Assist Unavailable

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2017 Superb estate. I was involved in a minor collision a couple of months ago, couldn’t prove that the other driver was liable so ended up paying for the dent repair myself, however since the incident I have had a warning light and message ‘front assist unavailable’ I’ve removed the cover and one of the brackets is broken that holds the sensor in place.

I don’t use ACC and used to turn assist off so I don’t really want to have it repaired and recalibrated as I don’t think it’s cheap.

Is there a way of turning assist off completely and getting rid of the warning light?

Thanks
