Hello, just purchased a scout, 2008, 125k, good service history. Noticed fumes smell in cabin, stronger when stood still. Looked under bonnet and found some fouling on engine block. There seemed to be some liquid evaporating/ smoking slightly when revving. Any thoughts on this? Still under 28 warranty, so will be talking to the seller. 

engine oil leaking out and smoking when heat from the engine hits it?

Probably a fuel leak from the tandem pump fittings i.e. split hose/loose clamp.
