Reliable 2016 Octavia 1.4TSI Combi Hiccup

Spoiler

The door locking on the passenger door became unreliable and actually cured itself for 6 months. Totally failed now. New, guaranteed, actuator found on eBay for £50 rather than the £220 asked for by VAG. Time will tell. The car has been boringly reliable and returns 54mpg ,indicated, on a long run. 42,000 miles .

The cheapo central locking module has worked great ever since.
