Time's caught up with me and my numberplate

Featured Replies

Fixed penalty handed out to me this afternoon. £30 - kind of just rewards for escaping (hopefully) a £30 fine at Blackpool.

Turns out my "legal" plates were also illegal so I have to toddle off with my V5 to get 100% legal ones made out. Got to think of something to put at the bottom now as my plate won't read like it has from now on. :)

I make that about 9 months use. Not bad. Plus I got to see a ANPR system in a patrol car in action! It IS something to behold. He also showed me how my car failed to be recognised. :o

Ah well - The one illegal thing on my car will soon be legal.

Oh, and don't give me any s.h.i.t. I knew what I was doing and am not at all aggrieved about the fine. Was almost worth it to see the ANPR in this volvo zapping everyone shooting by me at 70mph. he also insisted on a look under the bonnet when I told him how much power it is putting out.

Damn :thumbdwn:

I liked the look of that plate aswell.

bad luck jason, back to original plates then as these mean nothing normally spaced?

Nah - Rather go with a dateless plate that at least looks private than go back to my Y plate one. I'm contemplating seeing if anyone else wants to buy it off me and take the risk themselves. :D See if they can beat 9 months.

its a mongruel.... get a Q plate :D

What about S110 KIN...with a nicely placed screw cap ;)

110 isn't a choice. 111 is though. And you can't have an I in the last three letters either. Nice idea though! ;)

Your car deserves that numberplate. We were behind you a few times on the drive last week :D:rolleyes:

Ive just seen FOX55Y for £20k- tempting. Not! I like the look of W666 FOX and its only £494...

S666ODA is a £250 plate, :D

If anyone fancies my old plate and running the risk, there's a link to a testing auction in my signature. Thanks.

Soda??

:P That means you'd have to buy another Skoda to keep the plate :thumbdwn: :P

See the link in my sig. ;) I quite fancy S___ ODA of some description. S77 ODA wouldn't be a million miles away.

Jason,

what about S111 ODA with a screw between the the first to 1's.

Nope - needs to be a prefix style. My car's a 2001 Y plate "technically" :D

With Briskoda's "rule" on blanking out the plates I've actually got no shots of it with the plate showing. Plus any shots won't have it in a legal setting, so not sure what that might mean putting it up on Ebay.... It says enough in the title, so should be enough,

Ooooh, found one from a while back and added in.

I've luckily only been ticketed once up to now for a small number plate on my car and this was by a traffic warden whilst it was parked up in town, passed a few coppers and got away with it but its only a matter of time before i get ticketed again, not too bothered about a

I know it's not a Skoda related plate, but for shear comedy/swear word value, this one is unbeatable...
