Hi, I searched through the posts and googled it also, but... has anyone ever lined the glovebox on their car?

 

More than looking nicer than the hard plastic, but more for stopping thing's sliding around in there.

 

I thought about buying some grip mat material and cutting it down to size or even using some sticky velvet to line it. Just wanted to see if anyone had done anything similar before?

I've done this on various cars and cubby holes etc.   Mk1 Fabia, Mk2 Octavia, Kodiaq, Civic, Mx5. 

 

My favourite go to is speaker felt and double sided tape...   Works a treat at stopping things rattling around in there.  If needed you can make card or paper templates to get the correct shape first.

Thank you! It's more as we chuck our dash cam in there, so to stop the lens getting scratched, etc.

No slip tool box draw liner also works well, used it many times.
