Hey I recently bought a Scala in Meteor grey. There weren't any imperfections in the paint when I got the car but after only a handful of trips, the paint has lots of small chips, probably from stones. I think it's just the top layer. I swear my old car wasn't this vulnerable to chips. Is it the paint colour that is more prone to chips being visible or just crappy paint? Anyone else have lots of these chips on their paint work?

What was your old car / age?

 

It was a mercedes c class 2014. Metalic grey colour. 

Well then yes the paint is different,  you now have Skoda / VW Group factory quality prep, protection, top coats, finish.

 

'If only everything had Mercedes quality paint' as Volkswagen never say in their adverts.

Oh yes! I have never owned a car so prone to getting stone chips as my Octavia.
