Superb IV no roads on sat nav

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had this issue- have recently bought a 2020 Superb sportline IV - the sat nav is showing no roads on it at all. It has been to the dealership under warranty and needs to go back again for a forced software update. Obviously at the moment a lot of the intelligent functions around hybrid mode don’t function. Is this a common problem?

Hi,

I have a 2022 Mk4 Octavia VRS sounds ridiculous but I live in Warrington  and the sat nav works perfectly but my son lives in Dartford Kent, when travel down south the sat will not work.

Our problems continue - still has absolutely no roads shown and the nav will not start for this reason. We have been using Google and Waze but that’s obviously not the point. It has now been to the dealer three times for failed software updates and booked in again next week for a Skoda factory recommended full reset and re-install. Just got back from Yorkshire where having never worked before the road sign and predictive cruise worked. Then on our way home it stopped working again! I’m starting to think this looks more like an actual hardware issue not software. But then I’m definitely no tech expert.

Finally resolved, after having the car for over a week, dealer back and forth to Skoda technical they have changed the sat nav module under warranty. Early signs are everything is now working as it should. Fingers crossed.
