Can anyone advise if my digital dash oil temperature is working ok, the thing is I have never noticed how it has displayed before.

Wife took these pics yesterday, it looks strange to me with a red part at the left side of the bar then a grey shaded section followed by the red and a temperature read out.

Cruising on motorway, then 'A' road.
