Metal/embossed reg plates

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have been toying with the idea of some decent plates for some time, the trouble is everyone has jumped on the bandwagon even non car enthusiasts.

I have always liked the euro style metal plates, but some decent looking plastic ones have been made but the letters appear raised

whichever style i choose, are these MOT legal? or is it a switch up job when it comes around, what are the laws re this, don't want to attract any unnecessary attention when driving around

Kind regards

Fisher

If you go on any of the car reg plate sites you will be told whether your plates are legal or not, as I been looking myself.

Cheers buddy :)

Whichever bandwagon you jump on please don’t make it the one with the lettering that looks like fridge magnets. Just my opinion of course, but I think they look bloody awful
