New Fabia colour owner 1.0 TSI 

Is the slightly raised idle speed normal, approx 1500 rpm for a short while before dropping to 1000 rpm ?

Hello Steeveeg,Perfectly normal.Its like the old days when you would use  the  choke on a cold engine. Moderen cars do it automatically now, will drop revs as car heats up.So in short nothing to worry over.Cheers Andy
