Issue with manual heating/A/C direction dial

Featured Replies

Hello, just took ownership of my first Skoda - be it a 2016 model. Love the size and that boot. Minor issue; the direction dial for the heating/A/C seems a bit temperamental. None of the directions match the dial (you basically get the opposite function on the dial to the one you select). An eccentricity I may be willing to live with, but thought I'd ask if it's common or there's a simple fix. Thanks for your time. T

Is the direction marker on the dial 180 degrees out?

Has the dial been fitted wrong?

Yeah, seemed to be 180 degrees out. On closer inspection though, it appears more random than that, the turning mechanism goes from a smooth action to quite a crunchy one. I suspect the issue is in the turning mechanism rather than the dial being on upside down. Thanks for the reply, prompted me to double check how far out it was 👍

Would agree.
