Karoq car battery

Featured Replies

Hi. I’ve been researching car batteries and see the types efb and agm, with info saying agm is a better car battery and particularly for vehicles with a lot of consumables, and especially in winter.

I’ve noticed the stop start function doesn’t activate nearly as much as my previous Octavia.

my cuuent battery is efb type and coming up to five years old.

are there any karoq owners here with agm battery?
I’m interested to hear people’s views on either type and what people would suggest as best option.

thanks.

No opinions on which is the better battery, but if yours has lasted 5 years, in a stop / start vehicle, then I'd say that's quite a good one.

No matter what replacement battery you end up deciding on, and especially if you change from efb to agm make sure you get it coded correctly.

Thanks for that
