VAG-com code needed quickly!

Featured Replies

I havn't had a chance to do a search, sorry. But I need the code for ONE beep on door LOCKING via the remote key.

I spoke to the *cough* Skoda tech and they don't have a clue what I'm going on about when I tell them about using the VAG com for enabling different functions.

My car will be ready shortly as I saw it in the workshop when I drove past about 20 minutes ago. If they couldn't find out what to do I would like to be able to give them the code and the procedure.

Meanwhile, I'm off to contact a mainland estate agent

I found this info on VRStu's excellent website here. Is that what you need? If other settings are available they should be visible by scrolling through the various Channels.

ANTI HIJACK

[select]

[46 - Cent. Conv.] (35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars)

[Adaptation - 10]

Channel 03 to 08 (Depending Options Below)

Adaptation Value (1 = on, 0 = off)

[save]

Channel 03 Auto Lock

Channel 04 Auto Unlock

Channel 05 Unlock, horn sounds

Channel 06 Lock, horn sounds

Channel 07 Unlock, turn signals flash

Channel 08 Lock, turn signals flash

Remember to do a scan of the module on each one to find out what each channel is, prior to making any changes as some cars beep is channel 7, not channel 6.

I looked on Stu's site before posting this thread, but I wasn't sure if those codes you list are the ones? Where it was under Anti hijack, I left it alone. Also it describes a 'horn' sound. I don't want my horn to go off when I lock my car

Oh God, maybe I should leave well alone :D

The horn sound is the beep. So you want channel 06 setting to 1.

I ended up ringing Skoda UK to confirm it could be done as my dealer said it wasn't in his manuel  Anyway, they were fantastic and gave me the name of the guy in the technical department who was happy to talk my local techs through it. I now have one beep on locking  Bloody awful sound if I'm honest  it didn't cost me anything though
