My Fabia MC has just started rubbing sound when I reverse. It seems to be coming from rear right wheel. Any ideas?

Have the brakes ever been serviced since this car was new, if not, probably time to do that now.

Has the car got rear disks & pads or drums & shoes?

Not all Fabia III have rear disks & pads.

Ooops! Once again me and my Fabia incorrect assumptions 😒

 

Sorry to the OP.

It's a hard one.

 

From memory, early ones were:-

Drums & Shoes on the MPI engines.

Disks & Pads on the TSI engines.

 

But at one point you could upgrade the rear brakes from Drums & Shoes to Disks & Pads. 😒 🥺

 

Go figure.

This can happen with the drums when the auto adjuster is set too tight, wheels off the deck drag comparison is easy
