Hello!

 

I added some sound deadening to my Octavia over the weekend - makes a huge difference and is highly recommended, car feels like a tank now. I was planning to strip the whole car down and get it everywhere but ended up just doing the doors and boot (trim on the boot door and also on the floor where the spare wheel is).

 

In the process I broke the three window switches on all the passenger doors. I can't find a replacement anywhere!

 

Does anyone know where I can get the trim and window switch replacement? eBay has some but it seems they all have broken tabs as well!

George, unfortunately I can’t help you with the switches , but I would be very interested in how you added the extra sound deadening, and what products you used. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Are the part numbers not stamped/molded into the trim/switches?

 

If they are none on eBay, a dealer should be able to order them direct for you

Do you need the switches themselves or the trim that they go in?

 

How did you manage to break them all?
