I’m a bit new around here and apologise if I’m putting these questions in the wrong place. 
 

I’ve recently got a 2013/14 Octavia Estate 2.0 and have the following questions (and probably a load more I’ve forgotten for now);

 

How can I tell if the Steering wheel has been replaced? It appears very unworn for a car with 190k miles. Also it’s basic with no controls on it which I find surprising given the car has phone connectivity. Can I swap my steering wheel for a multifunction one? 
 

should the boot have 2 levels? Ideally I’d like it flat rather than recessed as it is now? I seem to recall a duel level boot was a Škoda feature?

 

where’s the best/cheapest place to get a new remote key (it only came with 1 so I’m paranoid I’ll lose it). 
 

there is no centre console, just a tray as low level and therefore no ashtray/sockets etc in the rear. Has this been removed or is this a standard layout? Can a centre console/armrest be fitted? 
 

where the best place to purchase bits from? Rear lights (near side), single rear seatbelt clasp and a plastic boot liner for a start. 
 

Is the a firmware update as it appears the infotainment system has never been updated. 
 

what else do I need to know? What easy mods should I make?
