American park brightness not adjusted

Featured Replies

Hello, I opened american parks in my vehicle. There is no problem on the right side, but the left parks are constantly lit at 100 brightness. I'm doing 30, it doesn't change. It just shuts down when I set 0, how can I solve it.

Maybe start with an autoscan, adaption map from 09 and a list of what you changed?

I did it by looking at the video, I think I did it without any problems, but the car I watched was golf 7, is it because of the problem, I wonder if the codes are exactly the same. Because the right side burns as I want, the trouble is on the left.

Both are MQB platform, but that doesn't mean they're the same!

As requested post an Auto-Scan and an adaptation map from 09 and what you changed - without that we are just guessing...

Just cause it’s the same platform doesn’t mean the leuchte channels are the same for all cars.

Blindly following a video not related to the car you are working on won’t help sadly

As proved by the great work done by member DV52 on the Ross-Tech forum, he produced a chart showing the (often very large) differences between different MQB platform models - and even between cars of the same model with different equipment.
